We have been getting warnings from sailmail. Jerry's new weather grib takes too much space & the marina's computers caught a virus, so we are incommunicado. As we tried to leave Punta Ala, smoke came rolling up the companionway. 2nd alternator. Olario put in the new alternator-strange noises-the starter flywheel was not disengaging. Mario & Manuela of Freya Sail have adopted us & are seeing to our general It. welfare, but they are gone this week. Mario to NY to buy a new Hinkley & Manuela is in Rome. We are planning on leaving here on Sat-Sun weather permitting
