We have been stuck in this rolly, rolly anchorage for 3 days now, and we are truly being tested as cruisers. Jerry is washing the dishes because I burned 2 fingers & cut 1 on the frozen meat. I am exhausted from just trying to adjust to the rocking of the boat. We have a stern anchor out , but it is still very wild. I have been working on some rainscoops & have had moderate success. This is a beautiful spot, but the weather has been too bad to go ashore between the white squalls & the plain old on & on drizzles.

Hurricane Keith is sucking all the air out of the Pacific & we have had 3 days of rain & wind. Fortunately we do have a safe harbor albeit rolly. Hopefully tomorrow we will be able to set out for the Perlas & do it in 1 jump.

1 bilge pump quit working, & we kept getting water in the bilge from somewhere. Jerry finally found a leak in the salt water discharge and got that fixed.

We just had 2 guys & their 2 cute little kids come up in their dugout with 2 x 4 paddles. I am out of everything-I finally found 2 pencils & some chocolates. I think they wanted our motor, but my Spanish didn't match their Spanish. They got frustrated & left.
